A new exhibition by three artists working with the medium of drawing – Kateřina Adamová (1977), Michaela Maupicová (1982), and Dana Sahánková (1984) – reflects the “game with discourse” characteristic for today's era, which is why it bears the neo-Dadaist title pOSTCONCEpTUAL CONTRACEpTION. This linguistic juggling of terms and contexts is a part of the contemporary world just as much as non-committal games of the libido and heightened passion, although these are not an explicit theme of the exhibition. Instead, the exhibition makes room for intuition in both art and perception. Drawing is an immediate medium that is closely related to thinking itself – thinking about concepts and conceptual constructions.
