Five sculptors present their works from the past several years. The selected abstract and figurative sculptures can generally be described using the terms expression, imagination, myth, and psychology. Eliáš Dolejší approaches his sculptures and paper or wooden objects as records of the deepest realms of the imagination. The monumental sculptures and sculptural installations of Kryštof Kaplan are characterized by strong psychological meanings and make use of expressive forms. Similarly expressive are the sculptures of Vojtěch Míča, who reflects on experienced situations and references to the diversity of visual and textual fragments. Sáva Spirova creates installations with fantastical references and hints of imaginative stories, and Erika Velická combines objects, drawings and graphic art into narrative installations with references to archetypal subjects.
