UB Airplane / Flight 2 is a continuation of an exhibition project held in 2013 at the House of Art in Opava on the 150th anniversary of the Umělecká Beseda arts association. The curators have designed a vibrant exhibition based on the concept of the “Airplane Game” in which each artist invites another to create a chain of artists across various artistic media and generations. The project's aim is not only to put together an exhibition, but also to take a look inside the functioning of the country's oldest existing arts association, to create new connections among artists, and to open the group up to the outside world.
