Edition X

Edition X (i.e. 10 pieces in the edition) is the edition of multiples. Each set is settled in an original paper box (28 x 28 x 4,5 cm), which has been made by the top contemporary Czech designr of paper packages Jan Činčera. Published by Gallery Klatovy / Klenová. The multiples is possible to buy in the cash of the gallery or cash on delivery on info@gkk.cz

Painter and object artists Václav Sika (1955, lives in Kdyně in the Western Bohemia) was at the beginning inspired by the landscape painting of J. Patera, later he founded his own original style. The traditional horizontal composition has been changed into a geometric structure of repeating motives like leaves, waves or branches.

Jiří Ladocha was born in 1942. He is one of the small number of Czech emigrants who achieved a success abroad. He'd settled down in Toronto in Canada in 1968, despite he was an autodidact he became one of the most important artists over there. After 2000 he gradually returned to the Czech republic. His artwork is characterized by a simple, minimalistic geometric language. He often uses plaster casts and absolute colours - white, black, Klein's blue and silver.
